At Thomas Keith Independent School’s online Sixth Form, students who opt for online International A Levels are provided with a range of advantages compared to more traditional sixth form schools and colleges. One of the primary benefits of studying at Thomas Keith Independent School’s online Sixth Form is the online learning environment itself. By studying online, students are able to avoid many distractions that are commonly found in traditional Sixth Form schools and colleges, such as behavioural issues among peers. This creates a more focused and conducive learning environment for the students.
Furthermore, the online classes at Thomas Keith Independent School have smaller class sizes compared to traditional institutions. This smaller student-to-teacher ratio allows for more personalised attention and an increased emphasis on effective teaching. As a result, students have more time for self-study and other activities, as they spend fewer hours in live classes. These classes can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection, giving students the flexibility to plan their revision and other activities around their own schedules.

Outstanding teaching… Make friends and communicate with people in class! It has an interactive chat box in class where you can discuss the topic and things you are learning about with other people. They also have microphones to talk in class as well as an interactive whiteboard. Sometimes the teachers even put you in groups with people to do a project together. The teachers always make sure you understand the topic, are always happy to answer questions no matter what the circumstance is, and even set you homework to make sure you understand. You can also send emails to your teacher if you need help outside the lesson… There are also people all over the world that are doing this school. If you miss a lesson, there are always recordings that you can watch to catch up! You also get time more time with your family. There is absolutely nothing they have not thought of! The fact that you get all of this in the comfort of your own home is astounding!

The maximum number of students in each class at Thomas Keith Independent School is 19 and most classes are much smaller than that. Every time the class number hits 20, we split the class into two.
The Sixth Form students at Thomas Keith Independent School can choose up to five International A Level subjects (normally three). The fees will depend on how many subjects are selected. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have identified a local centre that accepts entries from private candidates for your course before registering to study. This is particularly the case for Science practicals.
Please note that the courses and subjects are subject to availability and demand and are strictly allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.
